a special day

So many birthdays this time of year!! Neices, and nephews, and lots of awesome people! We wish you the best on your special days!!! Just want to say a special Happy Happy Birthday to my sissa!! You are the greatest and you mean so much to me! BFF!

A new location!

Our neighbor was kind enough to take me to a new photoshoot location in the area... the kids had to be bribed to go of course, but Charley was the least cooperative once we got there. She was afraid of the 'thorns' from all the tumble weeds. It was fun to have a new place to discover and keep the kids entertained while torturing one or two of them while they were photographed! You'll have to check out the photography blog for picts of the shoot! :)

Just to let you all know that we now have a golden retreiver named Roxy. Its alittle funny how suiting it is for her, because she now eats rocks in the yard...
She is fun and young and lots of trouble. BUT she is still a puppy and learns more everyday. Then forgets it the next! Two steps forward and one step back for sure! She is pretty well natured. She likes to play 'rough' with charley who takes every opportunity to smack her around as well. I think they have an understanding - an unwritten law. They are friends, but enemies. They can't resist eachother. The other kiddies get a little bored with her after about 5 minutes it seems, but they take her on walks and visit with the neighbor dogs quite often. Roxy love the neighbor dogs! Wallace and Katy. I will try and remember to get a picture the next time they go on a walk together!

A Very Brady Reunion

We just got back from a family reunion in Cedar City, Utah with Kurt's side of the family, The Brady's. They are all so nice, and friendly. It was fun even though it ended a day early for us. Kurt was not feeling well, and I hate being away from home when I am sick, so I made us leave early. He thanked me the next day. Turns out he is doing much MUCH better now. The little trooper even went to work the next day even being sick as a dog. The kids had alot of fun with the activities, and swimming, and all the cake! Cake everyday! I think we even had cake for lunch! (my kind of reunion!) Even though it was late at night when we made it home, they were very excited to see Roxy (our puppy) and woke her up to give hugs and kisses. Its always nice to be home after a vacation!

This may be a mistake...

But we are jumpin on the blog-wagon! So this might take some getting used to but we enjoy everyone else's blogs, thought we could give it a go!! We are not very exciting people, so this should be interesting to see if there is enough going on around here to keep from being a bore! Here we go!!!!!!!!
